A few years ago, I wrote about the simplehuman sensor pump. Since that time, I've had a number of issues with clogging. I still have my sensor pumps but 2 of them clogged up needing replacement. The issues seem to arise when you don't use a pump for a long time.

Recently, simplehuman release foam based, cartridge pumps.

They also have an internal lithium battery and charge via USB. Intrigued I purchased 2, for our kitchen and powder room.

It's now been 6 months, and they have operated very well. I love how easy it is to change out the soap when they run out. I also love that they make cartridges in lots of scents and options. We purchased a 6-pack, and I think this will last about a year for two pumps.

We happen to love the EO branded cartridges. There are a ton of options to choose from.

For high and low traffic areas, these are great. Over time I will probably replace other soap pumps with these.
