For the past two years, I have been very happy with the two pairs of sunglasses I own. A pair of Maui Jim polarized for driving, and a RayBan Wayfarer Liteforce. You really can't beat the Wayfarer as they are a classic sunglass that work well for most people. I recommend always going for the polarized versions, and the Liteforce are a thinner and lighter series that are great for traveling. I keep these in my work bag and take them everywhere.
The Wayfarer is also a great unisex sunglass, and they make smaller sizes for middle school aged kids and even little people.
Personally I have found that you cannot beat the quality of Maui Jim sunglasses for driving. They are optically some of the best sun glasses.
On my latest visit to the Sunglass hut, I noticed that RayBan had a new series of sun glasses called Chromance, and with that they had a style of sun glasses which was very Wayfarer esque but a small bit taller and with a nose bridge. I tried them on and instantly fell in love.
The Chromance lenses put RayBan in the same league as Maui Jim in my opinion and the new design really enhances what I love about the Wayfarer. If you have the opportunity try them on.
The model number of these sun glasses is the RB4264. They come in three frame colors and lenses and are part of the "Tech" sunglasses line. They are highly rated on Amazon (4.9 stars).
There are a few other glasses in this range for men and women.
