Hi Friends! It’s been a pretty light schedule for me this summer and I hope to start publishing more. I have a pretty deep backlog of stuff to share with you.

I have owned many Dyson products in my life. I’m always intrigued when they launch new ones.

Recently I picked up the Dyson Omni-glide. The Omni-glide is different from a traditional Dyson vacuum cleaner. I would compare it to a broom and dustpan vs a vacuum cleaner.

For our family we vacuum our kitchen and family room a few times a day. With two kids and a dog, our kitchen always has crumbs and outdoor debris.

Previously we were using a regular Dyson cordless vacuum. Our floor surfaces are hard (tile and wood) and Dyson makes fabulous hard floor heads for their cleaners. The Omni-glide has two such rollers and it’s sole job is to scoop up debris and dirt.

It accomplishes this in a very minimal package. The most striking thing about the Omni-glide is how small and light it is. It does feel like a broom. I really like the wall mount and charging kit.

Another awesome feature is that you can also use the Omni-glide as a hand held stick vacuum.
