Anker PowerCore+ 20100

For over a year now I have been lugging around an Anker PowerCore+ 20100 battery on all my trips. What makes this battery special is that it has a USB-C port that can charge a MacBook or other USB-C items such as Android phones or a Nintendo Switch.

The Anker stores plenty of energy (20,100 mAh) which is enough to charge an iPhone 7 Plus about 5 times, an iPad 2 times.

The USB-C port can output 3A at 5V so you get a total of 15W of power. This won't charge a MacBook while you are using it, but will do a good job if you turn it off. For reference the MacBook charger is 29W.

The battery is made of high quality material (metal) and lasts me a few days. It's the only battery I travel with these days as it can charge 3 devices at once (two over USB and one over USB-C). I happen to also carry with me the Apple USB-C to Lightning cable to give me even more flexibility.

It's def a heavy battery, but when you are traveling with 2 kids and 2-3 iPads, 2 iPhones and 2 MacBooks this thing comes in handy.
