This is a chart of the # of photos and videos captured on my phone and my wife’s phone. In 2012 we stopped using our point and shoot, not intentionally, but because the ability to instantly share from our phones became the most important feature.

  1. Cool graph. I think the point and shoots will make a comeback soon with baked in wifi and social integration. Perhaps all we need are good phone cams and integrated SLRs.

  2. which phones do you own? and are you saying you never felt the need to have a dslr to capture moments on some occasions? i m pretty sure you have used dslr and aware of differences among phone, p & s and dslr cameras.
